it starts in the SA node
electrical impulses travel through purkinje fibers
causing muscles to contract and valves to shut

I know how it works I know why it works
but I can't explain how
it makes me feel to be wrapped up in your arms
hearing that familiar sound

I cant't explain why P wave, QRS wave and T wave
make me feel this way about you

I can't explain the gentle tug as you leave
why it hurts to miss you
why my chest swells when you're here
