Luego de regresar del trabajo hasta la casa y antes de dormir fué a dejar el carro como siempre, al parqueo que funciona en la Iglesia Católica de la Colonia Primero de Mayo en Managua a menos de 2 cuadras de la casa de mis padres! Al regresar a pié a la casa le asaltaron y le dispararon en una pierna, fué llevado por vecinos al Hospital Alemán Nicaraguense e inmediatamente le metieron en sala de operaciones pues la bala había perforado el hueso y sangraba mucho. Mi papá había sufrido ya 3 infartos y era diabético, no resistió la cirugía.
