Happy Endings

I thought after the begining
when we reached the middle
things would get easier

instead of the ups and downs of a rollercoaster
life would fall into a contented pattern

I hoped this would be the begining
of an era of happieness together

It isn't
but that doesn't change how I feel about you
and I am still waiting for our happy ending
